Lisa Vosper
Lisa Vosper is a New York City-based multidisciplinary artist whose work occupies the space where the observational rigors of cinéma vérité meet the tactile architecture of improvisational fiber art. With a background spanning commercial photography, media studies, and documentary filmmaking, Vosper applies a documentarian’s sensibility to the textile medium, mapping nonlinear narratives through the structural language of fabric.
Vosper holds a BA in Photography from the Art Center College of Design and an MS in Media Studies from The New School. After a decade-long career as an advertising and editorial photographer, and director of photography in New York, she transitioned to the non-profit sector in 2014. She currently serves as the Director of Multimedia and Design for a leading advocacy think-tank, where she continues to leverage visual storytelling for social impact.
Vosper is currently directing a documentary film on the artist Nancy Crow, a project that serves as a bridge between her cinematic expertise and her deep reverence for the textile medium.
