Created in her home studio on Fidalgo Island, Washington, Julie Sevilla Drake’s art meanders between the wilderness of the natural world and the mayhem of humanity. Using wild colors, free-form shapes, untamed linework, and dynamic texture, Julie works in several media, often simultaneously, to distill what she encounters in her rambunctious life to its essential dreamlike story.
