Maria Shell
Maria Shell is a quilt maker whose work is grounded the history of stitched American Patchwork. Her quilt compositions often include improvision-ally pieced solid fabrics in an array of colors. Her patterning often alludes to traditional quilt blocks and units. Her quilt compositions are modern day pieced tapestries composed of color, pattern, repetition, and stitch. Maria teaches and lectures regularly on Zoom and in long format workshops at quilt retreats across the United States.
