In 2005, a friend invited me to my first quilting class. That was the start of developing my passion for quilting. I began with very traditional quilting patterns, but little by little I started changing them and creating my own designs.
I attended as many quilting classes as I could. I wanted to improve my technique, but mostly I wanted to find my creative voice.
Finally in 2016, I took my first class at “The Barn” with the renown quilt artist Nancy Crow. From then on I have discovered a new world of quilting with no limits.
I was influenced by both my parents who were architects. I lived surrounded by a mix of Bauhaus designs and Mexican modern art.
Each day is a chance to not only discover but also challenge my passion for interpreting the art of quilting through fabric and color.
